3 | Thy Will Be Done: Not My Will, But Yours, Be Done
Jesus prayed, “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.” We’re really good at praying the first part when we’re staring down a test we didn’t prepare for, or staring at the flashing lights of a police officer busting us for speeding. Can we pray the second part with the same confidence? Jesus invites to trust God and His love for us, as we pray.
